Do you own a collector's weapon or a historical souvenir whose value you would like to know?

Caroline Guizard and our expert Jean-Claude Dey can give you a free, confidential estimate.

What are collectors, museums and the art market looking for?

Weapons and objects that belonged to a historical figure are highly sought after by museums and arouse the passion of collectors. First and foremost are the memorabilia associated with Napoleon, the First Empire, the Grande Armée and the Italian and Egyptian campaigns.
Because they are beautifully made, and because they are associated with the memory of a feat of arms, a battle or a military campaign, weapons of honour and reward (given to troops, officers or marshals) are very popular.

The same is true of First World War weapons, the interest in which has been rekindled by the centenary celebrations.

The market for collectible weapons and historical memorabilia is an international one, with collectors all over the world.
