"Rennes Enchères wishes to present you in an emblematic place of the Rennes architectural heritage of the end of the XIXth century, the Halle Martenot, a cabinet of curiosities revisited under the name "Nature and Wonders".
Around a scenography created by Frédéric Beauclair, will be gathered naturalized animals but also selected objects gathering more than fifteen themes of collection.
This cabinet is part of the tradition of the Breton taste for collecting, a tradition that goes back to the 18th century with the Marquis Christophe-Paul de Robien and continues until today with, among others, François Pinault". Carole Jézéquel
