Early 20th century French 4/4 violin by Victor AUDINOT-MOUROT bearing his signature initials in black ink inside on the back and 00 27 in an iron mark on the ribs at the tailpiece knob cleat, one-piece spruce top with fairly regular fine rings, one-piece back of very fine maple on medium-wave mesh, slightly crumpled and descending to the right, ribs of the same wood matching the back, brownish-yellow-orange grease varnish, 358 mm, various varnish and corner accidents on the top with a small fracture at the top of the bar-side ef, back detachment at the foot of the neck, fairly good condition in an old wooden case.
