Early 20th-century French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt, by the JTL workshops, bearing the label copie de F. BRETON BREVETE de S.M.G and the iron mark at the foot of the neck, spruce top with thin rings in the center and widening at the edges, two-piece maple back with small descending waves on either side of the joint, ribs of the same wood matching the back, orange varnish 358 mm, very good condition, mounted and ready to play, in a recent case with set of strings and imitation carbon fiberglass bow.
