Early 20th century French 4/4 violin by the Victor AUDINOT-MOUROT workshop under the Castanier pseudonym, Paris. hand-written in violet ink inside on the back, spruce top with finer rings in the center and widening on the edges, one-piece maple back on medium-wave mesh slightly sloping to the right, sides of the same wood matching the back with tighter waves, yellow-brown grease varnish, 357 mm very good condition with a study bow in ebony maillechort frog, in an old wooden case.
