French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt early XXth, from LABERTE workshops bearing the label Copie de J. Bte. Vuillaume à Paris . Spruce top with fairly regular, very fine rings in the center, attractive one-piece maple back on mesh with irregular waves rising slightly to the right, sides of the same wood matching the back, bold orange varnish with more yellow undertone, small varnish and edge accidents on the top, 356 mm, very good condition.
