French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt, early 20th century, from the J.T.L workshops, bearing a label Copie de Antonius Stradiuarius . Spruce top with fine to wide irregular rings, two-piece maple back with almost no waves, sides of the same wood matching the back, red-brown varnish with orange gradations, 357 mm, small varnish accident on the top, good condition in an antique case with two beewood study bows.
