Very fine early 20th-century French 4/4 violin by the Jean Baptiste CHIPOT workshop, bearing its original 1928 VENDOME label, spruce top with finer rings in the center and widening at the edges, attractive one-piece back in bird's-eye maple, sides in the same wood matching the back, orange-red varnish, 357 mm, very good condition, in an antique wooden case with a BAZIN workshop bow in beechwood, ebony and nickel silver rise, marked TOURTE .
