French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt, early 20th century, from the J.T.L workshops, unlabeled, spruce top with fairly regular rings, two-piece maple back on mesh with small, well-marked, horizontal waves, ribs of the same wood matching the back, orange-brown varnish, 358 mm, one corner of the top broken, small delamination, good condition with a study bow in ebony maillechort frogwood in an old wooden case.
