Pistorio (Cinus De) Ci nus super codice cu addiotioibus. By Andreas Torresanus, Venice, 1493. 1 volume in-folio, contemporary binding in full calf, cold-stamped on wooden boards. Binding faded, both jaws split lengthwise. Leather loss at foot and head of spine. Old worm marks on boards. Remains of metal clasp. Vertical wormholes with loss of a few letters, from beginning to leaf k9. Smudging in the lower margin on all leaves and two small smudges in the outer and upper margins of the volume. Collated work, it contains 390 of 398 leaves: the following 8 leaves are missing: a1, a2, a7, a8, c5, c6, c7 and d10. A copy with very fine margins, a few old annotations in ink; all the initials have been completed in ink by the rubricators in one color for the smaller ones, in red and blue for the larger ones. A very rare incunabulum copy of this Italian jurist. Professor of law, poet and friend of Dante.
