4/4 violin probably made by an anonymous German maker, mid-18th century in the Italian style, bearing an apocryphal label of Ferdinandus Landolphus 1713, spruce top with fairly regular fine rings, very damaged with multiple fractures and various restorations, two-piece maple back with small horizontal waves, with accidental and repaired neck feet, sides of the same wood with various restorations, orange-brown varnish over yellow tone, 350mm, as is in an old case.
