Early 20th century German-made 4/4 violin bearing an apocryphal label of Pétrus Guarnerius 1600, spruce top with fine rings in the center widening at the edges, one-piece maple back on mesh with slightly marked medium waves rising slightly to the right, ribs of the same wood matching the back, orange-brown varnish with very dark patina, 357mm, core fracture on the back repaired with core piece, as is, in an antique case.
